Licensure Board Engagement Survey
This preliminary survey aims to explore the level of understanding and engagement among licensed professional counselors regarding the functions and roles of licensure boards. The study seeks to share data on how these regulatory bodies serve, support, and influence counseling practice. By examining counselors' perceptions and experiences, the research aims to identify opportunities for enhanced collaboration and communication between practitioners and licensure boards. Currently, data collection is ongoing, with over 1,500 respondents representing all 50 states. The findings presented herein are preliminary and intended to inform future research and policy development within the counseling profession.
